WORK HISTORY
Aphl-cdc Public Health Laboratory Fellow @California Department of Public Health
Richmond, CA, US
As a Public Health Laboratory Fellow through the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I support the Air Quality Section at the California Department of Public Health. My work focuses on improving indoor air quality in communities disproportionately impacted by pollution. I contribute to environmental health research projects by analyzing air monitoring data, and assisting in the development of monitoring protocols and indoor air quality guidelines. Projects include school-based exposure assessments such as Air Aware Oakland, residential air quality studies assessing indoor exposures to volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and public health surveillance using low-cost sensor technologies.
