About Tanmaya Sinha

I am a highly driven in house counsel experienced at leading and motivating teams to navigate complex legal landscapes. In my current role, I work alongside multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to manage contracts, employment issues and compliance across APAC. I am responsible for disputes resolution across several jurisdictions. In my earlier role, even though I was outside counsel for domain leaders and start-ups, my team and I did what any in-house legal team does. From preparing standard templates for agreements to preparing policies and playbooks, training internal teams on day to day legal issues, negotiating with vendors/customers and managing outside counsels across India. I have seen my clients grow from early stage start-ups with no in-house legal team (I did that job for them from the outside) to becoming household names. I understand businesses and am therefore able to present complex legal issues in a comprehensible manner, allowing the stakeholders to properly weigh all the legal options and make informed pragmatic decisions that minimize/mitigate legal risks. I have passionately defended freedom of speech while representing a major media house. My mantras for success are \"keep it simple\" and \"respond quickly\".
