In my organization, I had the opportunity to work on an advanced AI-driven project focused on email automation, aimed at transforming how support agents handle customer communication. Traditionally, agents would manually read emails and respond, which was time-consuming and prone to inconsistencies.We developed an automated solution leveraging OpenAI’s language models to intelligently read and interpret incoming emails. The system identifies the intent of the message, determines the appropriate case type, and further classifies it into a case subtype. A confidence score is then generated to evaluate the accuracy of the classification. Based on this structured information—intent, case type, and case subtype—the system generates a relevant and context-aware response.Additionally, these classifications are presented and discussed with clients to ensure alignment with business requirements and domain-specific nuances, improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.This project significantly reduced response times, enhanced consistency, and empowered agents to focus on higher-value tasks.
