Tanit is currently working at PCAOB as an IT Inspector with a mission to protect investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, accurate, and independent audit reports.His areas of technical experience for the past years with EY include- IT Audit for both financial and integrated audits for public and private firms- Service Organization reports – including SOC I and SOC II- Co-sourcing and internal audit engagementsWith the years at EY, Tanit has developed multiple robust soft skills which are valuable to multiple types of work streams including- Project Management- Managing client relationships- Professional communication, writing, and presentation skills- Ability to delegate in a team environment, receive feedback, as well as step out of comfort zones Tanit completed his Masters of Science in Accounting with emphasis on Financial Reporting with honor from Michigan State University in 2011. This program allowed Tanit to complete graduate courses in advanced accounting, auditing, governance, and Information Systems management as well as MBA courses including Corporate, finance and financial valuations. Tanit completed his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Michigan State University with specialization in Information Technology. He was an active student during College and served as a Teaching Assistance for an Introduction to Computing class aimed for Business students.Tanit’s education and work background allows him to function well in both the financial and IT arena which are both key success factors for many multinational organizations. He was born in a Chiang Mai, a city north of Thailand and went to international school from a young age, which exposed him to multiple cultures and personality types. Tanit is fluent in Thai and English and is highly adaptable to multiple work styles and situations given his international background. He is always seeking knowledge and professional skillsets through various training opportunities, self- reading, as well as professional certifications.
