I am a Junior Geologist at UGM Mining private limited with a strong academic foundation in Applied Geology (M.Sc. and B.Sc. from Presidency University, Kolkata). My professional journey is driven by a passion for field-based geological work, with hands-on experience in hydrogeological surveys, structural mapping, mineral identification, and geophysical exploration techniques. Throughout my academic and internship experiences—including work at CMPDI, NMDC, CSIR-NGRI, and NIH—I have developed a keen interest in understanding subsurface processes and contributing to sustainable resource exploration. My master\'s dissertation focused on the characterization of freshwater resources and spring dynamics in the Sub-Himalayan region, which deepened my insight into mountain hydrology and spring dynamics.I am proficient in tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, RockWorks, Grapher, and Surfer, and have trained in hydrogeophysical techniques, coal mining planning, and well hydraulics. Adaptable and detail-oriented, I thrive in challenging field environments and am continuously looking to grow as a geoscience professional contributing to impactful exploration and survey projects.
