ABOUT TANISHK GOPALANI

I’m a third-year Electrical Engineering student at Delhi Technological University (DTU) specializing in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.I’m passionate about developing AI systems that can perceive and reason under real-world challenges like low-light and complex visual conditions. My focus lies in understanding how and why deep learning models work. Not just using them, but building them from scratch to solve high-impact vision problems.At the ML Research Lab, DTU, I’m currently working on low-light vision research, developing methods that enable models to learn robust visual representations without relying on explicit image enhancement.Outside research, I’ve implemented and benchmarked several foundational self-supervised learning and generative models — including SimCLR, MAE, DINO, iBOT, DINOv2, and CycleGAN — to deepen my understanding of representation learning.
