During my time as a Visiting Assistant Professor at ITM University, I had the enriching opportunity to teach Human Resource Planning and Development, a subject that lies at the heart of organizational growth and workforce effectiveness. Engaging with students from diverse backgrounds, I planned and delivered lectures that balanced theoretical frameworks with real-world insights.What made this experience particularly meaningful was the human connection inside the classroom. I not only taught but also learned—how to listen better, communicate clearly, and adapt to varied learning styles. I discovered the subtle art of making academic content more accessible and relevant through storytelling, discussion, and practical examples.Working alongside experienced professors in an academic environment helped me understand the depth of academic discipline and mentorship. Their guidance, classroom strategies, and feedback greatly influenced my own approach as an educator. This experience has shaped me into a more empathetic and confident facilitator, deeply aware that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but about inspiring curiosity and building trust.
