Tanisha Holliday attended the University of Missouri – Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) where she attained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Engineering Management. Tanisha joined Cargill in 2008 with the Corn Milling Business Unit, Memphis, TN location. Tanisha is active with a number of organizations inside of Cargill and the community. She currently serves as a Cargill Memphis Inclusion and Diversity Trainer, a Cargill NSBE Recruiter and the Cargill Ebony Council Secretary. Tanisha has previously held positions as the Cargill Memphis Women Mentoring Women Co-Chair, M.E.R.G.E Recognition Team Member, Cargill Ebony Council Memphis Satellite founding charter member, C.O.R.N. Business Resource Group Development Committee Lead. She is also a member of one of the most prestigious academic and professional Engineering Honor Societies, Tau Beta Pi.Tanisha currently works as an Engineer II. Some of her completed efforts at the Memphis Facility include execution of the 60 day corn rail trial, design of the Sharples centrifuge discharge system, Steephouse structural steel replacement, design and construction of the Fructose carbon bag out system, and successful trial completion of rerouting Sweetwater to the Corn Syrup Jet Feed for city water and steam savings.

   Request and review budgetary quotes, write and prepare bid packages, document management of change (MOC), comply with environmental and food safety regulations within design scope, create isometric piping drawings, perform material balances*Scoped, designed, and budgeted a carbon load out system for spent carbon allowing for furnace maintenance and recovery*Executed a trial to replace city water with process sweet water for energy savings*Wrote and simulation tested interlocks for Delta V control system for the Renaissance project, assisted with DCS interface graphical display of equipment*Led the Mill Water Spinners Improvement Kaizen, YTD savings of $354,043*Developed a Grain Elevator training onboarding program for the Cargill Indianapolis Dry Corn Ingredients facility (included videos and SOPs)
