ABOUT TANIS JAMES
Current senior at Queens University of Charlotte studying Music Therapy. I am particularly interested in trauma informed care, and am currently working on a research proposal regarding the feasibility and acceptance of music therapy with Black/African American female survivors of domestic violence. At Queens I am a Head Resident Assistant, Head Roadmap Scholar, and Peer Tutor. I am also the president of the Sigma Upsilon Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and my schools Music Therapy Club. I look forward to connecting with others across disciplines in and outside of the Queens community.
