I conduct day-to-day oversight of HRPP operations alongside the IRB Director. Informed by my extensive background, I provide program leadership, expert knowledge, consultation, and education to 2 IRBs, research teams, and collaborate with other research stakeholders across the health system. I managed the Huron electronic software launch alongside my counterpart and continue to provide training and resources for use of the system. In my role I spearhead continuous improvement activities including AAHRPP reaccreditation while promoting the protection of vulnerable research participants. I also serve as an IRB member to provide exempt, expedited, and sIRB human research review.
