ABOUT MARCO TANG
I\'m a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, specializing in clinical and reproductive ethics. I’m currently interning at the Ethics Quality Improvement Lab at William Osler Health Systems, where I’m helping with the PoET project to ensure that practices in Ontario long-term care homes align with the Health Care Consent Act. Before this, I worked as a research ethics assistant at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I supported research compliance, created resources for researchers, and played a part in setting up a new health sciences ethics board. I’m now looking for opportunities where I can bring my experience in ethics, critical thinking, and teamwork to clinical or research ethics roles.
