My academic journey took flight at the University of St. Andrews, where I earned a First-Class degree in Chemistry and Biology, culminating in the publication of my dissertation in Nature journals. Yet, my ambitions have always soared beyond the laboratory. At Advantage Capital, a private equity firm in New York, I spearheaded the approval of a budget, driving research into filtered investments—an experience that honed my strategic thinking. This financial acumen is further reflected in my founding of Mercury Capital Management at St. Andrews. Under my leadership, the fund became a prestigious platform, hosting industry giants like the Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at JP Morgan Chase, and providing students with a unique gateway into the financial world.
