ABOUT TANAY CHATURVEDI

I’m Tanay Chaturvedi, currently navigating the exciting world of software engineering at GE Vernova. My journey has taken me through various facets of backend development where I’ve had the chance to dive deep into system design and optimize backend microservices. With hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, MySQL, and more recently working with Kafka for seamless asynchronous communication between services—each project has been an opportunity to learn something new.Before my current role as a Software Engineering Specialist at GE Vernova—which I’ve held since August 2023—I completed an enriching internship at GE Digital where I honed my skills further over seven months. It was here that I truly understood the importance of collaboration within teams while developing solutions that matter.My love for technology goes hand-in-hand with my passion for music. As a self-employed musician since December 2020, I’ve learned valuable lessons about creativity and discipline—qualities that translate well into my coding projects as well! Whether I\'m composing a new song or debugging code late into the night, both require patience and innovative thinking.Throughout my academic journey at the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Jabalpur where I earned my BTech in Computer Science, I developed a solid foundation in programming principles which continues to serve me well today.
