ABOUT TANAISHA COLEMAN
I work as an educator advocate and DEI strategist committed to fostering and sustaining anti-oppressive climates. Currently, I am building a strategy for teacher diversity with an educational nonprofit that’s working to revolutionize the Black teacher pipeline. Additionally, I started a business venture T.C. Consulting in 2019 to help companies and institutions foster systematic change with diversity, inclusion, equity, social justice, and more initiatives. As an educator advocate and DEI strategist, I am the point person for companies and institutions to do the following: • Define clear goals and outcomes for diversity, equity, and inclusion work through conversation starters, affinity spaces, assessments, workshops, training programs, and strategic plans. • Outline a comprehensive plan to tactic organizational and institutional issues with strategic development planning. • Cultivate climates where DEI and social justice approaches are employed to transform efforts that intentionally strive to accomplish multi-faceted goals for diverse needs.
