As Director of Tax Reporting, I am positioned within our US Tax Accounting group which focuses on calculating and recording the global tax provision using an annualized effective tax rate in accordance with ASC 740. I am involved in the review of the AETR calculation for our US business units, and I am the primary person responsible for the AETR calculation for our foreign business units. As part of these calculations, I assist in the review of both current year and long range forecasts, working closely with our financial planning and analysis groups. Other key responsibilities include providing data required for quarterly and annual filings, such as the components of deferred in the tax footnote, responding to both internal and external audit requests, and continuing work from previous roles by helping our tax technology group implement process efficiencies using both Corptax and SAP S4/HANA.
