Tamra is a board member of Intelligent Optical Systems, a highly innovative R&D organization and supplier of sensor, test, and measurement technology to industry, government, and research markets.Tamra is passionate about supporting women-led startups and makes pre-seed investments under 79 Studios LLC. Previously, Tamra was the founder and CEO of Dryad Communications, a broadband provider to rural underserved areas. Prior to that, she held various leadership roles in IT and space systems at Northrop Grumman.Tamra serves in her local community as a board member of the North Venice Little League and is a head coach for both of her boys\' teams. She is a member of the MIT Division of Student Life Visiting Committee, and is a member of the MIT Annual Giving Board.

LiquidTrust is a new global payment method with a simple, built-in escrow mechanism to safeguard smaller business transactions (<$250k) from fraud and loss. Of the $6.9T US import/export payment volume, 2/3 go unprotected because current payment protection products like letters of credit are too complex and expensive for SMBs. 9 out of 10 SMB owners constantly worry about fraud and loss because non-payment or non-delivery would be devastating to business survival. Learn more at liquidtrust.io.As COO of a venture backed startup, I have had a wide and ever changing range of responsibilities and accomplishments- Defining and managing day to day business operations- Together with CEO, developing and implementing both long term business strategy and near term tactics- Managing full time and contractor members of the team- Leading strategic initiatives, including building and managing our 170 country global payments and FX capabilities- Leading SOC2 Type 2 compliance- Developing KYC / AML procedures and executing the processes- Serving as the Anti-Money Laundering Program Compliance Officer (AMLCO) for the company- Driving product priorities and having an intimate and detailed understanding of current and desired future product functionality- Executing on marketing and sales, including messaging, implementing HubSpot CRM, conducting demos and understanding the journey of a potential user- Supporting users from the time of trial through to paid customer- Developing goals and key metrics for the business- All of the other operational stuff someone has to pay attention to - payroll, insurance, contracts, benefits
