With 35 years of experience helping clients through major financial transitions, I\'ve come to understand that these moments - navigating the sale of a business, experiencing the loss of a spouse or partner, going through a divorce, or managing a significant inheritance - are when people need clarity, confidence and guidance. This is where I bring the greatest value. My passion for this work became personal when my dad passed away. My mom was suddenly left managing two farms, dealing with renters, handling all the complexities of a small business, including land agreements and the county, and overseeing investments she had never managed before. In helping her transition to her new life as a single businessperson, I realized how overwhelming this process can be. I also saw the critical need for someone to quarterback the team of professionals required to guide someone through such a major life change. One day, my mother looked at me and asked,\"What do people do who don\'t have a daughter in finance when this happens to them?\" That moment stayed with me, and it drives me to help others. That is when I knew it was important to share my skills with other men and women who find themselves in unfamiliar territory and need someone they can trust to lead the way. I have a very comprehensive process to help clients achieve everything that is important to them. Together with my professional team and a trusted network of specialists, I work closely with clients to address the five key concerns of successful individuals: 1. Making smart decisions with their money 2. Minimizing taxes 3. Taking care of their heirs 4. Protecting assets from unjust loss due to litigation or divorce 5. Maximizing the impact of their charitable intentions Other business interests I have include owning Stonebrooke Golf Club in Shakopee, Minnesota, promoting a book I wrote to help women become comfortable on the golf course, entitled \"Say \"YES\" to Golf with Anyone\" and a book to help organize all important information, called \"Be Prepared for Anything, Anytime.\" My husband Gary and I have three children and four grandchildren. We love everything outdoors: running, swimming, biking, kayaking, ultra-light backpacking, hiking, boating, and golf.
