Manage all worldwide real estate transactions, including but not limited to new locations, renewals, expansions, subleases, and terminations worldwide.• Effectively collaborate with counterparts in Finance, Legal and Facilities in the timely execution of real estate leases.• Manage all critical dates for Illumina’s worldwide portfolio and ensure that all lease option dates are met for extensions, terminations, and lease renewals.• Created the company’s first five-year Strategic Real Estate Plan to support the company’s Business Plan.• Generate capacity and demand models to evaluate and forecast the company’s short and long term space needs and make executive recommendations to support space requirements. • Responsible for managing real estate database and lease administration system (LeasePilot) • Manage all subleases and ensure all sublease payments are current. Provide reporting to accounting.• Responsible for interfacing with our 3rd party lease administration team to provide a correct and accurate monthly rent roll. Work with Accounts Payable to ensure a smooth and accurate rent and CAM payment schedule.• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of all real estate procedures.• Create presentations for BOD and Executive Team review.• Prepare financial reports and provide analysis for various activities including lease commitments, expense and capital forecasting.
