   Provide operational support to ensure compliance with government customs and trade regulations.Support and adhere to import/export policy and guidelines. Evaluate product specifications based on import /export regulations, classify items and identify any special instruction or requirements to employees and customers. Ensure current and thorough knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and upcoming changes.Oversee and execute broker relationship including performance, billings, and systems interface. Act as a liaison with government bodies including customs, revenue, and trade offices.Interface with various levels of Celestica management and support teams to ensure processes are in place and working such that we maintain compliance with Logistics processes.Leads efforts to minimize US Customs fines/penalties and mitigate duty/tariffs impacts through free trade agreements (USMCA), FTZs/bonded warehouses, and HTS Chapter 98 provisions.Participates in business process improvements to help achieve reduced customs entry delays and improved transit times.
