I leverage my previous experience in my role as a fundraising and engagement consultant to colleges, universities, and other nonprofits. To best serve my clients, I gain an understanding of their history, resources, needs, and community; combine it with my knowledge of industry best practices; and partner with them to find creative solutions that will strengthen their efforts and allow them to do more good in the world. I conduct assessments of annual giving, development, and advancement programs as well as sub-areas within, such as stewardship/donor relations or direct marketing, and assist clients as they implement the recommendations into their daily operations. I examine internal readiness for capital and comprehensive campaigns, conduct external feasibility studies, and serve as campaign counsel. I conduct analysis and develop mockups and specifications for key reports and dashboards that improve management and execution. I offer coaching and training for individual staff members, teams, and volunteers as well as guided strategic planning that incorporates design thinking principles.
