About Tamlin Hall
Tamlin Hall is the Director of the MFA in Film, Television and Digital Media at the University of Georgia, where he leads graduate filmmakers with an emphasis on narrative storytelling. An Emmy Award–winning filmmaker and Humanitas Prize recipient for television writing, Hall’s work spans narrative features, documentary series, and television. His debut feature, Holden On, earned multiple festival awards and critical recognition, and his PBS series Hope Givers—now in its third season—has received multiple Southeast Emmy Awards for its focus on youth mental health and resilience. Hall is also the founder of Connected Content, a nonprofit dedicated to producing and supporting mission-driven film and media projects. He oversees their fiscal sponsorship program Reel Hope, which supports filmmakers and project creators across the country. He holds an MFA from UCLA and a BA from the University of Georgia. His latest feature film, Red Camellia, will premiere later this year.
