I play a key role on the global executive team ensuring HR strategy is closely aligned to long term business objectives and in the development of a cohesive and productive international working culture. This includes overseeing a team of six international HR Directors and Senior HR specialists in implementing strategy balancing local and corporate objectives. Setting up the global HR team, I worked closely with regional leadership teams to instil best practice HR consistently across the world and also introduced a robust new performance management process. Recruiting the first ever Head of Talent, I oversaw development of the ‘Finlays Academy’ providing a group wide learning centre offering qualifications and informal learning resources. I created the first global employee engagement survey and am executive lead for inclusion and diversity, setting up two women in business forums that has seen a rise in number of women recruited and promoted to management and supervisory roles. I have overseen 3 international M & As, all internal communications, and introduced a peer-led global recognition scheme.
