R365 is the leading US cloud-based software that trusted by more than restaurants offers a comprehensive solution for restaurants, encompassing accounting, store operations, and workforce management. Through seamless integration with POS systems, banks, vendors, and more, the software minimizes the time spent on manual tasks, providing enhanced visibility and control over financial outcomes.In my role, I played a key part in the core development of the cloud-based system, focusing on integrations with Point of Sale (POS), Payroll, Accounting, and HR systems. I assisted the Customer Support team by troubleshooting and resolving high-priority client issues particularly those related to financial discrepancies, such as addressing balancing adjustments in financial reports. I utilized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), specifically formats like 850, 855, and 832, for vendor integrations, particularly in the exchange of purchase orders and invoices. Additionally, I contributed to the optimization of existing micro-services, addressing API throttling performance issues. Furthermore, my responsibilities included actively participating in pull request reviews, documenting processes, engaging in sprint planning, contributing to retrospectives, and attending architecture meetings. I also played a role in onboarding new team members, ensuring a smooth transition, and actively tracking their daily progress to expedite their integration into the team.To highlight a few systems I work closely with for integration, they include Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Toast API, NCRSilver, OneHCM, GoTab, Revel, Brink, Aloha, Sicom, Breadcrumb, Clover, Cake, Qu, Lavu, Silversware, SpotOn Enterprise (Appetize), Square, Squirrel API, XenialCloud, and numerous others.
