Tamara Warren is the founder of Le Car, a Techstars company. Tamara is a journalist and author who has written for The New York Times, Car and Driver, Automobile, Elle, Esquire, Rolling Stone, AutoWeek, Architectural Digest, Vibe, and the Detroit Free Press. She is the former transportation editor and senior reporter at The Verge and is a jurist and former U.S. director of the World Car of the Year awards. She co-hosted the weekly Cheddar Rides show on the Cheddar news network, and has appeared on ABC World News Tonight, The History Channel, CNBC, and PBS News Hour. Tamara is a graduate of James Madison College at Michigan State University and holds an MFA in creative writing from the New School. Tamara was raised in Detroit, Michigan and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
