ABOUT TAMARA LAWSON
With over seven years of experience in learning and development, I am a resourceful and innovative leader who creates value-added training solutions that achieve desired business outcomes. I have a master\'s degree in educational/instructional media design and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which enable me to apply best practices and data-driven methods to improve processes and performance. As the AVP of Learning and Development at Planet Home Lending, I work with stakeholders and subject matter experts from various backgrounds and functions, such as credit, tax, finance, and mortgage, to assess learning needs and design targeted, project-specific, competency-based training programs. I use Articulate Storyline and Captivate to create engaging and interactive e-learning courses, and I facilitate classroom and virtual training to exempt and non-exempt employees. I also leverage my skills in customer relationship management to build rapport and trust with clients and partners. My mission is to empower learners and enable them to achieve their professional goals and contribute to the organization\'s success.
