Below are life events that have shaped who I am:Executive Sales Mother - My mother was a long time Healthcare Sales Executive. She was also the primary, and at times only, bread winner for our large, blended family (11 people were living in our house at one point). This engrained in me the need and ability to make decisions and take actions quickly. I had to speak up to make my points known or request help needed in a concise way, or they weren\'t going to happen. She has been the most valuable tool I\'ve had over the course of my life, by being my personal coach and \"cheerleader\" focused on supporting my success and ambitions. I believe strongly that everyone should have a similar resource and have made this a core component of my leadership contribution. Anyone who has worked on one of my teams will attest to the personal investment I make IN THEM to be the best THEY can be, not who I or others want them to be. We focus on where they shine brightest, what they enjoy and how they can contribute most. We also focus on opportunities to gain competencies aligned with their aspirations/ambitions for future goals. I am a better leader for all I\'ve learned from them on my journey.Castle Risk - This is a board game my father and I played often when I was in elementary. I look back and believe it contributed significantly to my strategic abilities. To win, you have to take calculated risks and have a long-term strategy. You also have to anticipate what risks and strategy your opponents will take. Then pivot as needed throughout. The game took 2+ hours to play. Today, strategizing is one of my favorite activities. I love brainstorming through all the potential plays my opponents or situation may take and then deploying a strategy for success. I don\'t always win, but I learn a ton and the process fun! I find even greater enjoyment creating an environment for teams to work this way together, leveraging their various skills, knowledge and the triangulation of to enable even greater win rates.The tale of two roads - At age 8, my parents divorced and I experienced two very different life paths. One \"successful\" one and one that led to a life of constant hardship and poverty. My take away was that no path is given, it is made. I always choose the path of never giving up in pursuit of my goals.In summary, my life\'s passion is helping my friends, family, team members and customers deliver on their goals and objectives. Because ultimately, their success drives my success and my company\'s success. Thank you for all who have contributed on my journey thus far!
