ABOUT TAMARA BEAN
I am an Honors Philosophy and Interdisciplinary Studies double major at Georgia College & State University, concentrating in Law and in Society, Culture, and Religion, with a minor in Criminal Justice. My academic and professional focus centers on ethical leadership, institutional accountability, and the role of law in shaping strong communities.As Secretary of the Student Government Association, I support executive operations, oversee official communications, and contribute to policy development. I also revived and now serve as President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, where I lead strategic growth initiatives, expand professional development programming, and strengthen member engagement. Previously, I served as Student Body Senator and Student Culture Chairwoman, experiences that sharpened my skills in governance, advocacy, and organizational leadership.I have completed two consecutive summer internships with Judge Schwall at the Superior Court of Fulton County, observing complex civil and criminal proceedings and gaining firsthand insight into judicial decision-making. Additionally, I worked at Slutzky, Wolfe & Bailey, supporting litigation teams through case management and legal research.Overall, I am committed to pursuing a legal career grounded in integrity, disciplined leadership, and meaningful institutional impact.
