ABOUT TAMAR BANON
With over six years of dedicated research experience in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, and, more recently, anti-doping, I am currently working in the Science and Medicine Department at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). My role involves monitoring, studying, reporting, and developing guidelines for therapeutic use exemptions, with a steadfast commitment to promoting athlete health and ensuring fair play in sports. My interest in anti-doping stems from my love for sport, and having been a competitive athlete in water polo and artistic swimming for many years. I hold a Master of Science in Public Health, specialized in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Montreal, and a Bachelor\'s degree in Physical and Health Education from McGill University. My graduate studies in epidemiology and biostatistics ignited my passion for research and innovation.
