ABOUT TAMANNA ARORA

After graduating as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics hons. it dawned upon me that I had a knack for business management and research related subjects. In line with my predilection towards these, I did my MBA in International Business from University Business School (UBS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. During my tenure at UBS, my captivation for research and analytics enhanced and I did a number of courses like Marketing Analytics, Google Analytics and learnt data visualization through Tableau. I also indulged in an 8-week Digital Marketing course certified by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai wherein I learnt the technique of write engaging content, track content insights and monitor success of social media campaigns.Luckily, last summer (May-June’19), I got the opportunity to intern with the Reserve Bank of India in the Foreign Exchange Department as a Research Intern where I got a hunch about how research takes place at RBI and also how foreign investments are regulated. A detailed research report was prepared regarding the Capital Account Transactions of India supplemented by a secondary data analysis using SPSS. A delayed joining, due to the pandemic, gave me the opportunity to work for an Aviation training school as a Research Intern which helped me understand the Aviation industry in great lengths. I am currently working as a research analyst for The Smart Cube in the Life Sciences domain.
