Conduct comprehensive reviews/analyses of project design scope & conditions to identify & interpret applicable Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (OHSE) requirements, obligations, & risks across the project lifecycle-Develop/author OHSE sections/chapters of Project Development & Execution Plans, ensuring alignment with legislative obligations, industry best practices, & project-specific risk profiles-Collaborate with Business Services & Project Teams to evaluate OHSE elements within proposed initiatives, contracts & operational strategies for compliance with federal & provincial OHSE regulations-Lead & execute on-site OHSE performance assessments, audits & inspections at client facilities and project locations to evaluate the effectiveness of client-specific plans & identify areas for improvement-Interpret & integrate Canadian federal & provincial OHSE legislation (e.g, OHSA, Canada Labor Code Part II, CSA Standards, Canadian Environmental Protection Act, (CEPA), Environmental Emergency Regulations, 2019 & other Federal & Provincial Environmental Laws) into organizational policies & client project frameworks, ensuring full regulatory compliance-Design & implement OHSE Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) frameworks, including risk registers, incident trend analytics, & corrective/preventive action tracking systems, to support continuous improvement-Provide strategic OHSE advisory services to clients, including risk mitigation planning, due diligence documentation, & support in regulatory inspections, enforcement actions-Support to OHSE training programs, safety onboarding, & competency assessments for client personnel & project teams, tailored to site-specific hazards/jurisdictional requirements-Support emergency preparedness & response planning, including the development, testing, & improvement of site-specific emergency plans, drills, & business continuity scenarios in collaboration with clients & local authorities.
