ABOUT TALYA MILLER
I’m T.(she/they) I work to build community connection through social justice, kindness and creativity, in both virtual and physical spaces. My identities as a fat, disabled, queer, trans/nonbinary and neurodivergent human have endlessly shaped my life experiences in harsh and beautiful ways. After a fun, 14-year run in the design and marketing industry, I am trusting the universe and making some big career changes! I have obtained my Iowa Tattoo License and am apprenticing at Ink & Steel Studio in Independence, Iowa. This career change will allow me creative freedom, better work/life management for my chronic conditions, and more dedicated time for my communities. In addition to tattooing, I am accepting freelance work in the following areas: Art, Illustration & Graphic Design Inclusive Event Planning Accessibility Audits Blog/Copywriting Squarespace Websites Public Speaking Discomfort encourages growth.
