Over the past 15+ years, I have acquired extensive experience in driving expansion, scaling operational capabilities, managing risks, and providing strategic direction to realize sustainable business growth, including growing a Fintech start-up into South Africa’s top payments processor.I lead cross-functional teams across multiple departments, including engineering, design, and commercialization to devise, build, and launch user-focused products and deliver tangible results.Notable accomplishments: Founded and successfully scaled 5 start-ups (3x fintech, SaaS, and real-estate), Founded a payments company, shepherded the development of multiple fintech products, and coordinated the sales and marketing efforts. It is now one of South Africa’s largest payments processors Drove the acquisition of a competing Fintech company, oversaw the flawless integration of the new company’s technologies, clients, and staff, and implemented process optimizations to reduce endemic risks. Built and led a diverse team of engineering, operations, sales, and marketing functions; while successfully achieving industry-high growth with industry-low churn.
