I’m a dual-licensed attorney in the U.S. and Brazil currently working as Immigration Manager at JBS USA, where I lead employment-based immigration strategy and compliance for one of the largest food companies in the world.Originally from João Pessoa, Brazil, I come from a family of lawyers and have been passionate about law since childhood. I began my legal career representing the State of Paraíba as a assistant of the prosecutor, focusing on criminal and human rights cases. After moving to the U.S. in 2016, I rebuilt my career from the ground up — earning both a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and becoming licensed to practice in the U.S.Throughout my journey, I’ve developed strong experience in: • U.S. employment-based immigration (TN, H-1B, L-1, PERM, etc.) • Global mobility and corporate compliance • Cross-border legal strategy and risk management • Internal policy development and executive advisoryRecognized with awards such as the IUPUI Elite 50 and Kathleen S.
