Develops, reviews, and implements operational systems, procedures and workflows relating to the mortgage lending operations function. Provides implementation and ongoing training to mortgage operations staff and other interconnected departments on policies, procedures, and workflow changes. Actively manages processors to assure conditions to close within a timely manner prior to closing. Actively manages CD issuance to substantially reduce multiple re-issuances as conditions to close are cured. Significantly increases efficiency and improves morale by reducing number of modifications to closing packages. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.
