ABOUT TALEH ALIYEV

I am a MSc in Mechanical Engineering & Management student at the University of Glasgow, with an academic background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Koç University. My academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of engineering design, technology-driven decision-making, and strategic management.Alongside my studies, I have been elected as a Student Representative (Class Rep) for the MSc cohort. In this role, I aim to actively contribute to student–faculty communication, represent cohort interests, and support a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.My experience includes applied research in robotics within collaborative laboratory settings, as well as hands-on engineering projects focused on sustainable and energy-efficient design. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work across disciplines, translate technical concepts into practical solutions, and contribute effectively within team-based research and engineering teams.At the graduate level, I plan to deepen my expertise in advanced mechanical systems, innovation management, and technology-led leadership. I am particularly motivated by projects that combine technical rigor with strategic impact, contributing to solutions that are both industrially relevant and socially responsible.
