In 2006, I had the privilege of working for the Universal Music Group. I could not have asked for a better job or education. Everyday, I sat next to two help desk administrators, two C# developers, and a database administrator. I have been engrossed in programming ever since.I decided that I needed to familiarize myself with the local nerds in the middle Tennessee area. The best way to do this is to join technological meetup groups. I first joined the Ruby on Rails meetup group a few years ago and was exposed to Web Development and Test Driven Development. I then joined the Security meetup group and was introduced to Linux and Python.My goal is to continue to work in an environment that will keep me near cutting-edge DevOps technology.
