ABOUT TALA A.
A graduate in Civil Engineering at UBC, currently pursuing work experience in the field of Transportation Engineering. Through a diverse set of engineering projects with the City of Vancouver, ICBC, BC Housing, Stuart Olson, UBC, and the VFPA developed skills such as teamwork, field experience, data collection and analysis, documentation, technical writing, communication, public speaking, time management, and leadership skills. Through volunteering and actively participating in several community organizations such as Engineers Without Borders, ITE UBC, and MAX Mentors, established an ethical responsibility to provide humanitarian assistance whenever possible through environmental sustainability and global involvement. Developed resilience and strength to achieve my aspirations regardless of obstacles and circumstances.
