ABOUT TAJINDER HEER
I am a family physician dedicated to providing, promoting, and teaching high-quality, patient-centered primary care. I was a faculty physician and Associate Program Director of Curriculum at Central Washington Family Medicine Residency. While employed there, I was multiple time winner of the Faculty of the Year award for my effort and advocacy on behalf of resident education. I completed a faculty development fellowship through the University of Washington School of Medicine and later completed the National Institute for Program Director Development (NIPPD) Fellowship. I also served as a Site Medical Director and then Senior Medical Director for Rogue Community Health, a FQHC in Southern Oregon. While employed with Rogue Community Health, I developed an interest and aptitude in informatics and became a certified EPIC EMR provider builder and clinical informaticist for the organization. I hope to further expand on this interest, and I am currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Health Care Informatics program through the University of San Diego. While I\'m in no hurry in this privileged and exciting journey in Medicine, I ultimately would like to utilize my experience, training, and capacities in a role as Program Director at a Family Medicine Residency Program or as a Chief Medical Informatics Officer.
