Lead and oversee bioinformatics services within the CVRC, neighboring departments, and the UVA Health System, serving as a central resource for bioinformatics support.• Design and execute analysis workflows for single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics, bulk RNA-seq, and other omics technologies.• Perform comprehensive data analysis, from preprocessing and quality control to statistical interpretation and biological insight.• Integrate data across platforms and modalities, including transcriptomic, epigenomic, proteomic, and genomic datasets.• Develop and maintain scalable analysis pipelines using R, Python, Bash, Snakemake, Nextflow, and HPC environments.• Provide formal project quotes and manage billing in coordination with CVRC leadership and finance staff.• Generate publication-ready figures and provide interpretive support for manuscripts, presentations, and internal reports.• Collaborate with principal investigators and research teams on experimental design and data analysis strategy.• Contribute to grant proposals by providing bioinformatics sections, letters of support, and project-specific analysis plans.• Promote core services across departments and labs, increasing visibility, usage, and alignment with institutional research goals.
