ABOUT PARTH TAILOR
I’m a Metallurgist and Materials Engineer with practical experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Production Engineering across the oil & gas and manufacturing industries. I hold a Master’s in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, which together provide me with a strong foundation in materials behavior, welding, and process optimization.Most recently, I worked as a Quality Control Inspector at CRC Wellhead Supply Co. Ltd, where I performed inspections on wellhead components, ensured product compliance, and supported testing activities. Prior to that, I served as a Quality Assurance Representative at Academy Petroleum Industries, focusing on root cause analysis, quality documentation, welding procedures, and equipment calibration (MT, PT, and hardness testing) using ProShop ERP.Earlier in my career, I gained valuable foundry and metallurgical experience as a Junior Production Engineer at Mangalam Steelcast Pvt. Ltd, working on metal casting, spectrometry, NDT, and heat treatment operations.Certified by Tata Steel in steelmaking, heat treatment, and desulphurization, I’m passionate about continuous learning and committed to contributing to innovative projects in materials engineering and quality management. I am currently seeking new opportunities where I can apply my technical expertise and continue growing in the field.
