About Tahnee Gehm

I\'m an animator (CalArts \'12 grad) focusing on 2D/traditional animation, augmented reality and motion graphics. Having worked on a handful of films and in advertising, I believe that anything that can be drawn can be animated, and anything animated may be a perfect blend of frame-by-frame and motion graphics magic. And with a new era of artistic expression through technology, I think AR is going to be everywhere in the future! Style is not something I wish to identify myself with; instead, each project should express itself through its own voice. Thus I prefer to develop a unique style for every project I work on. As efficiency is key to my workflow, pre-production visualization is defined with the production process kept in mind. My experience includes creating award-winning music videos, social media advertising, AR filters for large brands, contributing animated sequences to independent films and documentaries, along with creating personal animated shorts. I was nominated for the Best Student Film Annie in 2013. I am mostly interested in animating for film, commercials, music videos, and interactive media.    Nov 2022 — Present

   I worked on Tontachi, an AR racing game, where I created character designs and model sheets, working closely with the team to ensure everyone was feeling great about the designs. Another large contribution I made was painting and animating 3D models. I have also helped write the story and dialogue, painted 2D assets, and contributed to discussions about UI.
