About Tahmid Khan
I’m a public health researcher, organizational storyteller and a brand strategist working at the intersection of health, policy, and entrepreneurship. With a Master’s in Public Health (Epidemiology) from Columbia University and a B.Sc. in Global Health from the University of Toronto, I’ve built a career that bridges evidence-based research with dynamic, audience-driven storytelling.My work spans three lanes that reinforce each other- Pharma/Healthtech Consulting: I advise drug, device, and diagnostics teams on brand strategy, patient engagement, evidence communication, and launch readiness—especially in opioid use disorder and overdose preparedness, immunology/respiratory, oncology, and digital therapeutics. I’m comfortable at the intersection of medical, regulatory, and communications—turning filings, R&D, and real‑world evidence into compelling, compliant stories- Nonprofit & Advocacy Leadership: As Co-founder and Director of Communications at BacharLorai, I help lead a global nonprofit that empowers Bangladeshis worldwide through community programs, policy research and humanitarian aid. Our work spans health access, youth education, gender-based rights, climate action and diaspora engagement — that connect the Bangladeshi and adjacent diaspora across continents. I also sit on the Global Board of Footsteps, currently developing a system that enhances telemedicine access in last mile communities in Bangladesh- Cross‑Border Healthcare & Entrepreneurship: I’m building AURAS Global (Health • Tourism • Education) to make regional care pathways seamless—integrating teleconsultations, medical tourism, travel, and culturally aware support between South Asia and Southeast Asia.(More to come on this soon!)TEDx Speaker.
