ABOUT TAHLON SWEENIE
As the Director of Golf Operations at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, I oversee one of the world\'s premier golf destinations. I am a PGA of Canada Executive Professional and a proud Métis Nations of Alberta member, with 25 years of experience in the golf industry. Currently im focused on project management as we work through our multi year golf course restoration / recovery plan with Parks Canada including overseeing complete mainline irrigation installation, extensive tree removal, multiple greensite and bunker renovations, wild life corridor fence installation, seedling, tree planting and hydro seeding installation, turf care facility and multiple structural rebuilds. My core competencies include financial management, sales and marketing, colleague development, guest satisfaction, and corporate events. I lead a team of 60 dedicated golf & turf care professionals, who share Fairmont’s vision of service excellence and culture. I have successfully managed and enhanced operations at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, resulting in annual top line revenues exceeding 4 million and rounds surpassing (May-Oct). I have also received multiple awards and recognition for my leadership, retail, and service excellence. My goal is to lead golf facilities to new heights, deliver exceptional member & guest experiences, and promote the values and culture of the Fairmont Brand.
