As part of the Knowledge Team I am excited to continue to bring high quality education for meeting, event and incentive travel professionals from around the globe to the two IMEX Group organises global trade shows that serve the meetings and events sector with IMEX Frankfurt each spring and IMEX America in Las Vegas each fall. Both trade shows offer unprecedented business opportunities combined with a great industry gathering. In partnership with the industry\'s key associations, our unique model is complemented by extensive free education and networking. Meeting industry suppliers from across the world are present at IMEX trade shows. Exhibitors include national and regional tourist offices, convention and visitor bureau, hotels, conference and exhibition centers, cruise lines, airlines, spa resorts, event management specialists and more. In attending an IMEX trade show it is possible to achieve a year\'s worth of business in just three days, be inspired by outstanding free educational programs, develop your career and learn about the latest innovations and ideas in the industry.

Specialties: Wrestling alligators - the more complicated the event seems, the more useful I will be to you! Developing events for our industry peers allows me to bring creative energy to events and use the combination of ubiquitous technology and human nature to create relevance for our participants. With our partners, I love working to bring brands to life through appropriate and engaging environments and thoughtful, relevant experiences. Oh, and I like to have fun through it all! Effective organizations understand the power of events to enhance loyalty, educate, inspire and act as the most effective tool to build and strengthen connections. My mission in this age of digital disruption is to create environments which act as an incubator where dialogue, creativity and innovation can percolate. EXPERIENCE From groups of 14 to Producing the welcome reception for 2,500 Meeting Professionals at MPI WEC Vancouver 2010;* Opening the Fairview Container Port Terminal in the very remote Prince Rupert for 700 VIPs from two continents and from this wonderful small town for a festival;* Olympic and Paralympic Games (Beijing and Vancouver/Whistler), I love bringing spaces alive - from ballrooms to glaciers, trade show floors and rain forests. on three continents (so far!) I have had fantastic opportunities to both lead and be part of amazing teams to design and deliver an incredible range of events and to curate highly relevant education for our industry. Personally, to wake up every day knowing I am part of a vital industry full of amazing people who share the same goals as I do - to surprise, inspire and excite audiences and guests, and to share this enthusiastically makes me pretty lucky. Having a family that supports me traveling half the year makes me even more fortunate!
