Collaborated with the Data Science team and integrated an LLM fraud detection model into the major KYC flows, achieving a 93% detection rate for document duplication and manipulation, strengthening the security of the system. Optimized Redis cache warm-up with automated prepopulation of high-probability user data, reducing peak-time database load by 57% and improving log-in performance. Built the Bank Account & UPI Verification system, streamlining player verification and serving daily active players with improved accuracy. Collaborated with the Risk team to onboard new rules into the Risk Rule Engine (RRE), enabling automatic fraud detection without manual review. Integrated authentication for the BCCI-driven IPLT20 fantasy app, onboarded 650k+ new international users and expanded global reach. Owned and managed P0 services including KYC, User-Service, Pan-Module, and RRE, architected with multithreaded, non-blocking, fully asynchronous flows over Kafka and allowing real-time analytics and fraud detection. Mentored junior engineers, fostering best practices in coding, debugging, and system design.
