ABOUT TAHIR ABBAS

Currently working as a Quantity Surveyor at Casey Group, I manage the commercial aspects of various projects across the North West. My role covers cost planning, procurement, contract administration, valuation of works and financial reporting to ensure successful project delivery. Previously, I contributed to HS2 Delta Junction with Balfour Beatty Vinci, one of Europe’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes. In that role, I was responsible for cost control, risk management, and stakeholder engagement within an NEC contract environment, supporting the delivery of a high-value, technically challenging scheme.Earlier in my career, I gained a strong foundation in the utilities sector with O’Connor Utilities and Network Plus, managing the commercial performance of water and electrical framework contracts for clients including Yorkshire Water and Electricity North West (ENWL).Driven by accuracy, collaboration, and value, I’m passionate about applying commercial insight to help deliver successful, sustainable infrastructure projects.
