ABOUT TAHA SILAT
I recently completed a four-month internship with the University Library where I examined trends in scholarly publishing at Usask. Throughout my time at Usask, I\'ve had the opportunity to help other students in several roles. I was a teaching assistant for CMPT270: Developing Object Oriented Systems where I taught students about best practices in Object Oriented Programming (OOP). I\'ve also volunteered as an Academic Skills Peer Mentor with the Library teaching students about effective study strategies. I am always curious and open to learning new things. I\'ve taken various courses to fulfill my interest in a particular topic. I enjoy reading and learning about trends related to technology and the way it continues to impact our lives in various ways
