External- Promote Greensboro Country Club and promote the game of golf- Spread hospitality and good will among all members and guests- Promote Junior Golf- Advise the Golf Committee of proper policy and procedure- Report to the Golf Chair & General Manager any suggestions that may improve GCC- Promote participation in golf tournaments at Greensboro Country Club- Promote participation in golf instructional programming at GCC- Play golf with all members including women and junior golfers- Appear at golf functions sponsored by Greensboro Country Club as requested- Solicit feedback from members and guests on the golf experience at GCC- Educate members on the proper etiquette and protocol of the game of golf- Teach the game of golf- Represent the club in various golf competitions in the area when time and opportunity permit.(Carolinas PGA, CGA, USGA).Internal- Train & motivate all golf staff members in all areas including but not limited to policy, procedure and service- Oversee all areas of golf operations- Staff Relations - Golf Shop operations - Tournament operations - Practice Facility operations - Member Communications - Website - Digital Content - Newsletters - Instructional programming - Handicap administration - Golf Car operations - Prepare and maintain capital, operational, and payroll budgets for the Golf Operation- Administer P&P review for staff- Complete Golf Event Schedule- Serve as point contact to other departments for the golf staff- Tournament Operations – Act as senior resource and mentor for all events.
