Having joined a small team within the SPR/IBRO Project Services Marine Operations Department as a Marine Warranty Surveyor Manager (MWS). In this key role, I ensure that marine operations involving insured items are warranted on time and within operational limits, which is critical for the successful execution of large-scale offshore wind projects in the UK, Europe, and overseas.Belonging to the Project Services Marine Operations Department, I support both Installation packages and the Project Construction Manager. My responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise in the appointment and management of specialist and independent technical consultancy services needed to de-risk offshore marine operations and ensure they are warranted to the satisfaction of the Construction All Risk (CAR) insurance policy during execution. Key Responsibilities: Providing professional advice on marine warranty, technical strategies, risk levels, and commercial agreements. Assisting in the maturation of offshore load out, transportation, marshalling, and installation operations. Developing and maturing the MWS scope of work during the tender process and consultation.Managing and coordinating the release of all company content for MWS approval. Organizing and attending meetings between Contractors and MWS to clarify technical concerns. Ensuring timely acceptance of marine operations and maintaining effective communications for invoice approvals.
