Develop HVAC system designs based on project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and ductwork design to ensure optimal system performance.Utilize AutoCAD fabmep, Bentley open building designer and other design software for drafting and thermal modeling.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and constraints.Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource planning.Create comprehensive and accurate technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and schematics.Review and interpret architectural and mechanical drawings to ensure alignment with HVAC design.Research and recommend appropriate HVAC equipment, materials, and technologies.Evaluate new products and technologies to enhance system efficiency and performance.Perform quality checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC systems.Ensure designs comply with environmental and safety standards.Provide technical support during the construction phase, addressing design-related issues and modifications.Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve engineering challenges.
